Lenovo and Bestcomp Group held ‘The Power of Platinum Partnership’ event for corporate customers

On February 24, the Four Seasons Hotel hosted "The Power of Platinum Partnership" event organized by Lenovo and Bestcomp Group. The conference began with a moment of silence in memory of the victims of the Khojaly tragedy and those killed by the devastating earthquake in fraternal Turkiye. Then, the deputy general director and commercial director of Bestcomp Group Khalil Alakbarov addressed a welcoming speech to the event participants, comprising both local customers and guests from all over the region, and talked about the company's history and structure. As a partner of world-leading manufacturers in the region of South Caucasus and Central Asia in the field of IT and system integration, Bestcomp Group provides professional consulting, and technical and project support to customers in the countries of their authorization.

Lenovo's Director General for Central Asia Alnur Yermagambetov noted that thanks to a developed network of partners, including the leader company Bestcomp Group, the Lenovo brand in Azerbaijan becomes more popular every year. The speaker also provided interesting facts on the current state of Lenovo's business in the world and the region, and the rapid growth of the company's turnover. This situation allows Lenovo to increase investments in development and research centers. "Our company allocates about 2-3% of its total turnover to research and development, enabling us to bring the number of such centers to 18 around the world. This allows Lenovo to offer its customers the most advanced solutions to build the digital future. With the help of Lenovo's smart technologies and innovative products, we are all taking another step toward digital transformation," said Alnur Ermagambetov.

Next, Lenovo IDG Corporate Client Manager for Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Azerbaijan Gaziz Abdrassilov spoke, noting the successful results the company achieved over the past years and calling on guests to actively use Lenovo's technological innovations to bring their organizations to a higher level of operations.

Berik Tursbekov, a commercial representative of the small and medium business segment in Central Asia and Azerbaijan, continued with the Lenovo section devoted to laptops for the business sector and introduced new models to customers. In particular, much attention was paid to the newest devices in the Yoga line, which have gained popularity in the Azerbaijani market due to their practical form factor and the updated series of ThinkBook and ThinkPad business laptops.

Lenovo IDG's Key Customer Relations Manager in Azerbaijan Anar Nuriyev introduced the lines of corporate desktops and ThinkCentre monoblocks, ThinkVision monitors, and talked about Lenovo's extensive portfolio of accessories, including keyboards/mice, cases/backpacks, docking stations, and audio/video devices.

Anar Nuriyev also spoke about the opportunities that the Lenovo IDG service and warranty offerings provide to customers.

Arman Bakhtybaev, Senior Corporate Business Support Specialist of Lenovo IDG in Central Asia and Mongolia, continued to introduce the Lenovo ThinkStation line of workstations and ThinkPad WorkStation mobile devices. In particular, the speaker noted that the reliability of this category of computers exceeds the capabilities of competitors by 20%; in addition, the Lenovo workstations are certified for use in extreme conditions and comply with the MIL-STD-810H standard.

The official part of the conference ended with a report by Grigory Pryalukhin, Lenovo ISG software-defined solutions manager, who spoke about how Lenovo ThinkSystem servers, XClarity hardware monitoring and management system, and ThinkAgile hyper-converged solutions can transform data centers. The wide range of servers, storage, and networking products was originally designed with customer workloads in mind. These award-winning devices deliver industry-leading performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction for businesses of any size.
