The 10th regional event of the flagship STARTECH 2025 program was successfully held at Ganja ASAN Service Center No.2, organized by Femmes Digitales with the support of ASAN Service, the Ministry of Science and Education, and Bestcomp Group.
The event brought together 70–80 girls aged 12–16 from Ganja and surrounding villages, offering them an inspiring and educational experience focused on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), digital skills, and innovation. Through interactive learning sessions and mentorship activities, participants explored future career and educational opportunities in the field of technology.
Launched in 2016, the STARTECH program has impacted more than 3,000 schoolgirls across Azerbaijan, with regional events held in cities such as Masalli, Gabala, Guba, Shamakhi, Mingachevir, Lankaran, Ismayilli, Sheki, Nakhchivan — and now, Ganja. The initiative continues to play a critical role in increasing digital literacy and encouraging young girls to pursue studies and careers in STEM fields, both locally and globally.
“STARTECH 2025 is about more than just learning – it’s about building confidence, nurturing curiosity, and helping young girls see themselves as future innovators and leaders in tech,” said a representative from Femmes Digitales.
As a long-standing supporter of education and community-focused initiatives, Bestcomp Group expressed pride in contributing to the event. “We believe that empowering the next generation, especially in the fields of technology and innovation, is not only a responsibility — it’s an investment in a brighter and more inclusive future,” the company noted.
