HSE Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Ensure the effective implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures in compliance with national legislation and international standards.

Promote a safe working environment by identifying risks, conducting inspections, and implementing preventive measures.

Participate in the preparation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HSE documentation, including procedures, training materials, audit systems, and reports.

Conduct and organize HSE training sessions.

Carry out regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

Support the preparation and maintenance of documents such as risk registers, emergency response plans, and safety instructions.

Ensure the availability and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment.

Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, provide initial assistance, and coordinate with relevant authorities when necessary.

Maintain records related to accidents, training sessions, safety drills, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Additional HSE certifications are an advantage

Minimum 2–4 years of relevant work experience; construction site experience is preferred

Languages

Azerbaijani: Excellent, both written and spoken

English / Russian: Preferred

Work Location: Field-based position

Work Schedule: 6 working days per week
