Representatives from more than 50 companies discussed the development of IT infrastructure, systems management, data security, and business continuity.
The “Connected for Growth” event was held on October 16–18, organized by Bestcomp Group, HPE, and Commvault. The event brought together IT department heads from more than 50 companies. The discussions focused on advancing IT infrastructure while ensuring effective systems management, data security, and business continuity.
The program covered practical aspects of managing virtual and cloud environments, protecting backups, and recovering mission-critical systems following disruptions.
Opening the event, Khalil Alakbarov, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Commercial Officer of Bestcomp Group, emphasized the importance of long-standing, trusted relationships with customers and thanked participants for their many years of cooperation.
Anar Khanaliyev, Sales Director at Bestcomp Group, outlined the key business areas of the company and its subsidiaries, as well as their approaches to systems integration and service delivery. He also introduced the company's proprietary products, including AzDoc Pro, BestUp, bCloud, and Bestbook.
HPE representative Erdem Öztürk discussed the role of artificial intelligence, hybrid cloud, and networking technologies in building IT infrastructure that meets businesses' growing needs.
Görkem Can, HPE's Chief Solutions Architect, presented the capabilities of HPE Morpheus and VM Essentials. These solutions enable centralized management of virtual and cloud environments, automation of day-to-day operations, and cost optimization. In a separate session, he discussed HPE Zerto, explaining how it helps minimize data loss and reduce the recovery time of mission-critical systems.
Ivan Zasokhlin, Regional Director at Commvault, emphasized that having backups does not, in itself, guarantee successful data recovery. He highlighted the importance of protecting backups and regularly verifying their readiness for use in the event of an incident.
Dmitry Ivanyuk continued the discussion by presenting the Commvault Cloud Unity platform. The platform is designed to protect data, detect threats, and enable secure recovery following cyberattacks.
“Connected for Growth” provided an opportunity to exchange insights on building IT infrastructure tailored to real business needs. The event explored solutions that help organizations manage systems more efficiently, protect data, and maintain operational resilience in the event of disruptions and cyberattacks.
