Court Recording and Transcription System for Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Objectives

The Ministry of Justice needed a reliable and efficient system to record court proceedings and generate accurate transcriptions. The previous methods of manual note-taking and audio recording were time-consuming, prone to errors, and lacked proper integration into the digital judicial infrastructure. A solution was required to ensure that all court sessions were recorded, transcribed, and stored in a secure, easily retrievable manner.

Our Solution

We developed and deployed AzFemida, a comprehensive Court Recording and Transcription (CRT) system. This system automates the recording of court hearings, transcribes the sessions using advanced speech-to-text technology, and securely stores the data. The system is fully integrated with the Ministry's case management platforms, providing seamless access to recordings and transcriptions for legal professionals. Its flexible architecture allows for easy configuration based on court type, procedural changes, and specific claims or reports, ensuring adaptability to the evolving needs of the judiciary.

Project benefits

  • Enhanced Accuracy: AzFemida’s automated transcription reduces human error, ensuring more reliable and consistent records of court proceedings.
  • Time Efficiency: The system dramatically decreases the time required to generate transcripts and make them available for legal processes.
  • Data Security & Accessibility: The secure digital storage of recordings and transcriptions ensures that court documents are accessible only to authorized personnel, while providing a convenient retrieval process.
