The Ministry of Justice needed a reliable and efficient system to record court proceedings and generate accurate transcriptions. The previous methods of manual note-taking and audio recording were time-consuming, prone to errors, and lacked proper integration into the digital judicial infrastructure. A solution was required to ensure that all court sessions were recorded, transcribed, and stored in a secure, easily retrievable manner.
We developed and deployed AzFemida, a comprehensive Court Recording and Transcription (CRT) system. This system automates the recording of court hearings, transcribes the sessions using advanced speech-to-text technology, and securely stores the data. The system is fully integrated with the Ministry's case management platforms, providing seamless access to recordings and transcriptions for legal professionals. Its flexible architecture allows for easy configuration based on court type, procedural changes, and specific claims or reports, ensuring adaptability to the evolving needs of the judiciary.
