The “360 Cyber” event, successfully delivered by B&B Security, part of Bestcomp Group, hosted important discussions and knowledge exchange in the field of cybersecurity.
The event, dedicated to discussing cybersecurity challenges in a rapidly evolving digital world, brought together over 400 professionals. It was also announced and shared with participants that the event is planned to be held annually going forward.
In addition to participants representing Azerbaijan’s public and private sectors, guests from Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Israel, Canada, the UAE and Ukraine also attended the event.
Opening the event, Nazim Gasimzade, Chairman of the Board of B&B Security, welcomed the guests and provided an overview of the company’s areas of activity.
A special guest, Farid Zeynalov, Head of the Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, addressed key national cybersecurity priorities and current challenges in his speech.
Jochanan Sommerfeld, Chief Strategy Officer at 31 Concept, shared insights on global trends and organizational readiness strategies against cyber threats.
As part of the event, B&B Security presented its distinctive position in cybersecurity — a comprehensive 360° service model covering the entire lifecycle. This approach, which provides the company with a competitive advantage in the region, positions cybersecurity not as a set of isolated solutions, but as a unified and continuous management system. Additionally, the strategic use of artificial intelligence in combating modern cyber threats was strongly emphasized.
During the event, Anar Khanaliyev (Deputy CEO for Commercial Affairs), Vusal Ramazanli (Deputy CEO for Information Security) and Aydin Gurbanli (Head of Information Security) from B&B Security presented real-world threat scenarios faced by organizations and approaches to managing them.
The first panel discussion, titled “Cybersecurity in Practice: From Risk to Response,” was moderated by Rauf Jabarov, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Organizations Association. It featured B&B Security experts — Dashgin Lazimov (Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance), Jabrayil Taghiyev (Head of Cyber Attack Operations) and Rashid Mammadrazayev (Head of Cyber Defense Operations), who provided in-depth analysis of real threat scenarios and practical approaches.
The second panel focused on “The Future of Cybersecurity, AI-driven attacks, and the role of people, processes and technology in this battle.” It was moderated by Huseyn Najafzadeh, Chief Commercial Officer of B&B Security and included representatives from Techpro DC, Cymulate, Check Point and Bakotech.
Representatives from Commvault, Opinnate and Splunk delivered presentations to customers for the first time at the event, sharing insights on advanced technologies and real-world use cases. A representative from CyberArk also highlighted the growing importance of identity-based approaches in the future of cybersecurity.
