• Designing, implementing, and managing complex network solutions for the organization.
• Overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software components.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess network needs and develop plans for network upgrades and expansions.
• Ensuring the security and integrity of the network infrastructure by implementing best practices and security measures.
• Monitoring network performance and identifying areas for improvement or optimization.
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior network engineers and IT staff.
• Assisting in the planning and execution of network-related projects.
• Evaluating new technologies and making recommendations for network enhancements.

3. Personnel specifications
Diploma: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field
Experience: Typically, 2+ years of experience in network engineering or related roles (Experience with large-scale network design and implementation is often preferred)
Certifications: Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or other relevant certifications may be required or preferred
Specific areas of expertise:
Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs. Experience with network security solutions and firewalls is essential
Familiarity with a variety of network hardware, routers, switches, and load balancers. Experience with configuration and management of network devices.
