Junior IT vendor manager

1. Key Goal

• We are looking for a IT Vendor Manager to join our team and play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain and procurement processes.

2. Responsibilities (Managerial & Operational)

• Finding and onboarding great vendors who fit our business needs.

• Negotiating contracts to get the best deals and build lasting partnerships.

• Keeping track of vendor performance using key metrics to ensure they deliver top-quality service.

• Spotting potential risks in vendor relationships and helping to come up with smart solutions.

• Building strong, positive relationships with vendors through great communication and teamwork.

3. Competencies (Soft Skills)

• Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

4. Personnel specifications

Diploma:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional) are advantage.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or similar roles.

Computer skills:

• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, 1C, and Dynamics.

Languages:

• Fluent in Azerbaijani language (written and spoken), with proficiency in Russian and English.
