Junior Business Analyst

1. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to accurately understand critical business requirements

Analyze, structure, and clarify business needs/requirements; review and develop change specifications

Document and communicate analysis results, including preparation of SRS/FRS, use cases/user stories, and initial/mock design drafts

Translate and simplify business requirements into functional requirements to meet stakeholder expectations

Work closely with Product Owners and developers to ensure proper understanding of specifications

Develop innovative solutions to support operational and strategic changes

Ensure proposed solutions align with business needs and requirements

Interact with senior management regarding change initiatives, demonstrating negotiation and influencing skills

Prepare reports and deliver presentations to highlight the impact of implemented changes

Facilitate meetings and training sessions; analyze data models to derive logical conclusions

Document system scenarios and collaborate with training teams to identify impacted roles and support change management/training plans

3. Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Economics, Finance, or a related field

Experience

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects

Specific Expertise

Business analysis

Support of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and related defect management

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and similar Agile tools

Basic knowledge of SQL

Experience with wireframing/prototyping tools such as Balsamiq or similar

Language Skills

Azerbaijani – fluent

Russian and English – good (reading and writing)
