Junior System Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Basic administration of Windows Server family (2016/2019/2022)

Initial configuration and technical support for Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy

Creating virtual machines and working with basic settings in VMware ESXi or Hyper-V environments

Daily system monitoring and event logging

Participating in IT systems documentation

Monitoring backup systems and performing routine checks

Working in coordination with the network and security teams

Completing tasks assigned by senior engineers accurately and on time

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field

Experience with Windows Server operating systems; Linux experience is an advantage

Understanding of virtualization concepts and experience with VMware

Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other fundamental network protocols

Basic understanding of system security and backup principles

Strong analytical thinking, responsibility, and efficiency

Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn

Excellent Azerbaijani; technical-level Russian and English

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft or VMware entry-level certifications (MTA, MCSA, VCTA, etc.)

Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting languages

Basic familiarity with monitoring systems such as Zabbix

Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems
