On December 1, 2022, a conference on the theme "Intel Shapes the Future of Technology" was held, organized by Intel Corporation and its only partner in Azerbaijan with Gold status - Bestcomp Group.
Jolanta Vasilevska, Intel Partner Network Development Manager in the EMEA CIS region noted in her welcoming speech the prospects for developing relations between Intel and Azerbaijan. “Our partnership with Bestcomp Group and such a high status, which this company was granted with, allows Intel to feel confident in the country. We are full of desire to restore our technological advantage in the market,” said Iolanta.
Then the stage was passed to Alexander Melnikov, an Intel industry technology specialist, whose first part of the presentation was devoted to the current line of Intel server processors, as well as the prospects for the development of this area. Alexander noted that from 2024 it is planned to switch server processors to two product lines optimized for performance or efficiency: P (Performance) and E (Efficient).
The next presentation by Alexander Melnikov was dedicated to the Intel vPro platform. Alexander noted that thanks to an exceptional set of integrated solutions and technologies, IT teams of enterprises receive tools to protect devices and data, as well as manage a computer park and ensure the productive work of employees from anywhere in the world. The Intel vPro platform is also flexible and scalable, allowing you to personalize devices to meet the specific requirements of end users across industries.
The platform is powered by Intel Core vPro processors and Intel Xeon processors for workstations, delivering business-class performance, end-to-end hardware security, and a superior user experience. An important element of the platform is Intel Hardware Shield technology. This technology is a comprehensive hardware-based security features that provide advanced threat detection, application and data protection, security below the level of the operating system.
Special mention should be made of Intel Active Management Technologies (Intel AMT) and Intel Endpoint Management Assistant (Intel EMA), which provide IT professionals with a tool for secure remote access to maintain and restore computers, wherever your employees work," said in Alexander concluded by demonstrating the capabilities of the technology by remotely connecting to a personal computer at home.
After the official part of the event, the conference participants continued to communicate at a business dinner in an informal atmosphere.
