Bestcomp Group held an event dedicated to Cisco solutions

Bestcomp Group Cisco's 1-Tier partner in Azerbaijan, held an event dedicated to the vendor's solutions and products in such areas as cybersecurity and cloud solutions.

The event was opened by Deputy General Director of Bestcomp Group Khalil Alekperov, who spoke about the history and structure of the company.

It was noted that Bestcomp Group is represented in 7 countries and continues to expand into the markets of the region, offering not only products and solutions from its technology partners, but also company`s more than 30 own developments. Bestcomp Group employs more than 50 certified engineers, and the number of certificates they have achieved exceeds 500. Khalil Alekperov paid special attention to partnership with Cisco. Companies jointly have achieved great success in the design and implementation of data center solutions, information security and telecommunications. Also noted that, Bestcomp Group is one of three companies with the status of "Cisco Master Security Specialization" in the CIS.

The event was continued by the presentation of the solution architect of Bestcomp Group Mammad Mammadov, who introduced to the audience the Cisco SecureX platform. He noted that the launch of the Cisco SecureX platform was associated with an increase the number of cyber attacks and unauthorized access to data. Nowdays the system has become a main part of the portfolio of information security tools.

Bahruz Mammadov, pre-sales manager of Bestcomp Group, spoke about the Cisco Meraki high-tech solution for building clouds in corporate networks. Participants of the event received information about the features of solutions based on Meraki, which include improving network security by sending data over an encrypted channel; simple network management with Meraki Dashboard cloud management; ease of network deployment, in which the network infrastructure of a remote office can be deployed in just 30 minutes; ease of network scaling and etc. 

At the end of the official part, the participants were able to continue communication in an informal setting. The event was aimed primarily at heads of information security and system administration services, specialists responsible for the implementation of enterprise information security systems, IT directors and IT managers.
